Celebrating Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement

Afrikan souls are a majority people
on the world stage. This is contrary to popular notions of ‘minority’ status when Afrikan souls are confined
to propaganda that is peddled within the
bounds of alien-dominated territories. Marcus Garvey boldly put forth a reality
check and mission to elevate a whole people, the likes of which impacted the
world in an unparalleled way. Simply put, Marcus Garvey envisioned, as described
in his own words:
“a racial empire upon which the sun shall never set”.
The Afrikan is to be powerful wherever located in the world as each Afrikan soul would naturally be a progressive functioning part of the ever-ascending whole. This is not a minority people. This is a multitudinous divine force of victory.
The mighty thrust of Garveyism injected clarity and direction throughout the Afrikan world for each of these primary people of creation to elevate themselves to their rightful place of self-governance and restorers of righteous order. In this, he challenged Afrikan souls to ascend in their standing such that they:
“Never allow any other race to preside over your affairs. If they come as visitors, they must conduct themselves as visitors. They must never have executive control over your affairs, because they will always say and do things to suit themselves and that are against your interest, even though they profess the greatest amount of friendship”.
These words were far from being empty rhetoric, these were the words of an outstanding visionary who established and was at the helm of the largest self-determined Afrikan organ the world had seen. Garvey’s spirit is one of supreme mission victory. The Afrikan world empire was to be realised despite the ill-efforts of others, he insightfully posits:
“In a world of wolves one should go armed and one of the most powerful defensive weapons within the reach of [Afrikans] is the practice of race first in all parts of the world”.
Along the course of his physical life-span, Garvey and his movement experienced the ill-efforts of alien forces by proxy. Misguided Afrikan souls were misused, mis-engineered and coerced into working against the organised uplift of their own people. Some of these set upon souls would abandon or deny their race (or worse). Yet, the spirit of Garvey continued its victorious thrust as he politely retorted:
“not all black men are willing to commit race suicide and to abhor their race for the companionship of another”.
