Celebrating the Role of the Liberator, the Process of Liberation and the Attainment of Liberty

The liberty of Afrikan souls surely ought to hold the quality of authenticity both in conception and in actuality.  Otherwise, the door may become open to a pseudo-liberty in which Afrikan souls may succumb to an existence laced with the trappings of subjugation and become consumed with the false notion that being underfoot is some sort of ‘norm’ - not liberty at all. As authentic Afrikan liberty is a result to secure, it necessarily requires that both the process of its attainment (liberation) and the role responsible for its realisation (the liberator) are also authentic.

To illustrate the meaning of authenticity in respect of liberty, a mainstream source offers the following detail:

“True liberty consists in the security of persons and property, so that every man, while he respects the persons of others, and suffers them to enjoy in quietness the fruits of their industry, is certain that he himself will be permitted to enjoy the same blessings at the hands of his fellow-citizens".

Another mainstream source, describes the process of authentic liberation in the following way:

““Authentic liberation – the process of humanisation – is not another deposit to be made in men. Liberation is a praxis: the action and reflection of men and women upon their world in order to transform it”.

In relation to qualities of an authentic liberator, a general description of authenticity in a person may be useful, as offered by a third mainstream source thus:

“An authentic person is someone who is genuine and true to themselves, acting in accordance with their core values and beliefs rather than trying to appear or act differently to please others. They are honest, sincere, and comfortable in their own skin”.

Unfortunately, others that mean the Afrikan ill may see – and attempt to treat –authenticity of the: Afrikan liberator, the process of Afrikan liberation and the outcome of Afrikan liberty as a threat. With this, attacks upon Afrikan leadership and people genuinely working for the fullest flourishing and security of Afrikan souls here, there and elsewhere may be instigated in the desperate attempt to install or perpetuate exploitation and servitude upon the primary people of creation.

Of course, Afrikan souls do themselves a great service in safeguarding against such folly and building for themselves whether here, there or elsewhere in service of Afrikan ascension. Indeed, even at the person level of day-to-day life Afrikan souls ought to avoid becoming misused as self-destructive tools by proxy- with such vices as deceit, deception and sabotage. Instead, upright constructive engagement to bring the authentic Afrikan liberator out of the self one sees in the ‘mirror’, upright constructive engagement in the authentic progressively transformational process of Afrikan liberation and upright constructive realisation of authentic Afrikan liberty is key. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance nor is it a facade.
