All-Year-Round Cultivation

By the grace of the Creator Supreme, Afrikan souls are the grand and magnificent builders, developers and maintainers of civilisation. This has been the self-determined order of Afrikan life from age-to-age since the earliest of times. This of course, is from the basis of spiritual-cultural living. Here, spirituality does not mean detachment from reality. It does not mean the abandonment of life purpose and progressive living. Rather, the necessary and vital functioning of spirituality energises and elevates Afrikan life into optimality and ascension in practical engagement, mission and righteous order. This is how the grand elevation and sustenance of Afrikan civilisation came to be. Institutions of learning, economics, ethical order, governance, philosophy, architecture, science, defence and so on were all outward expressions of the energising spiritual-cultural core.

Unfortunately, in times of disruption by others that mean the Afrikan ill the rightful place and functioning of spirituality can become skewed or distorted. Hell inflicted by others can coerce the Afrikan outside of him or herself to treat spirituality as a route to escape reality. Or, a route to deny this natural core-to-life phenomena that is a natural energy core of elevation regardless of circumstance or living.

Wonderfully, Afrikan souls are restoring cultural fabric to their lives all-year-round with values such as the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles) that emerge from the Kwanzaa observance. In this, cultural living is not distinct nor is it separate  from spiritual living. Therefore, with these values and other relevant all-year-round Kwanzaa practice the vital, necessary, harmonising, and interconnected energising thrust of Afrikan spirituality is ever-present, accessible and important to have living knowingness of. It is righteous Afrikan spirituality empowering practical engagement in life. It is spirituality of local and  global level empowerment not confined to any geographical locale. This is spirituality rightfully intertwined with life lived. This is thrust of Afrikan spirituality for a whole people. This is Afrikan spirituality By Way of Kwanzaa (ASBWOK).

Therefore, whether Afrikans are engaged in wealth generation, education, manufacture, institution building, or whatever endeavour to benefit themselves, their own spiritual-cultural fabric of living can continue to empower them to reach their maximum potential and maximum capability. In this, Afrikan souls need not deny themselves and their own way of life and walk upright in holistic knowing of self.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X who profoundly inspired the process that brought forth Kwanzaa, forthrightly challenged a listening audience to:

‘Point to me one concrete gain, practical gain’

This deeply spiritual grand hero knew and understood clearly that life is to be engaged in. Spirituality of the Afrikan empowers engagement for life’s success, achievements and victories. ASBWOK is not a conclusion of life but a way to give rise to concrete and practical gains for the betterment of Afrikan souls.

Universal Royal Afrikan Spirituality of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation utilises ASBWOK. Here, Afrikan Spirituality is a vital part of life’s functioning.  It is a living of wholesome oneness where the various observance times of year each have there spiritual-cultural symbols and focus all in complementary and harmonious fabric, each observance to the next. And of course, the grand annual yield of growth, development, achievement, progress, elevation and so on are celebrated during the Kwanzaa observance celebratory period itself.

The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) is an organ that is rooted in spiritual and cultural fabric for the imperative the mission of global Afrikan ascendancy. Throughout its annual observance calendar cycle URAN energises active knowingness in and from the core spirit levels of Afrikan beingness.
