Divinity in the Contemporary World

The spiritual formulation of ASBWOK (Afrikan Spirituality By Way of Kwanzaa) both harmonises with the cultural fabric of Kwanzaa and the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles) as well as with the various expressions of regional traditions of Afrika. It certainly does not negate the upright practices within any locale. Instead, it provides a  framework on the spiritual plain that can be shared throughout the Afrikan world punctuating the rooted oneness that Afrikan souls hold. ASBWOK is therefore, is dynamic in its substance as it provides a spiritually unifying vehicle for existing practitioners of a local tradition whilst also providing a vehicle of spiritual engagement for those Afrikans that have no local tradition and wish to engage with Afrikan spirituality.

ASBWOK has a number of core themes that are commonalities within the natural norm Afrikan life.

Core themes within ASBWOK are:

1)     Living knowingness of the Creator Supreme

2)     Living knowingness of the Great Ancestors

3)     Living knowingness of the self

4)     Application of the shrine

5)     Purposeful ingathering

Living Knowingness of the Self

The self within the Afrikan worldview is of wholesome beingness. Naturally, the self is not a concept that relates to a thrust to have isolated fragments of existence. Rather, the self is a thrust for functional oneness of being throughout its various levels. To begin with the person self for the Afrikan consists of multiple parts that are to be cultivated, developed in functional cohesion to make the whole person. This is not simply mind and body but nine parts for wholesome soul functioning that are supported by eleven key areas of focus. Thus, for the Afrikan masculine man or the Afrikan feminine woman the self is optimally functional with the nine essential component are operational in service of the whole. The wholesome Afrikan masculine man and the wholesome Afrikan feminine woman can then establish the harmonious and complementary male-female union that in turn gives rise to wholesome Afrikan familyhood. From wholesome Afrikan familyhood, wholesome Afrikan community can be established that produces wholesome Afrikan nationhood. From nationhood a wholesome Afrikan world community can flourish. Each level from person to world community is a level of the self that requires its appropriately functional components for it to be fully realised. Further, each level of the self is cultivated, nurtured, developed and safeguarded for its own optimality in service of the greater Afrikan good.  In this,  passage of rites is key in purposeful transitional stages from early years to the more senior.

Despite the destructive efforts of others that mean the Afrikan ill, it is for the Afrikan to restore self-determined selfhood at all its levels. This requires purposeful effort on the part of the Afrikan in the face of alien academia, media and other institutions. Here, alien contaminates of ill are to be safeguarded against whether as misandry, misogyny, feminism or whatever. Naturally, the Afrikan way determined by Afrikan souls themselves purged of damaging pollutants (ideologically and otherwise) has always been and will always be best in servicing Afrikan optimality and ascension.

Kimungu Madhabahuni is a time of year to celebrate the Afrikan shrine at home and beyond. Kimungu Madhabahuni takes place during the holiday period associated with the spring equinox. At this time many people are away from the mundane of the various institutions albeit largely as a dictate of presently popular foreign religious doctrine. This therefore, can allow many more Afrikan people the time and space to restore, elevate and be themselves freely in reverence at their own special places.Throughout the annual cycle of the spiritual and cultural calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation observance to observance, Afrikan life is endowed with the essential of living knowingness.
