Celebrating the Specialness of Self and Self-Space

In times of interruption and disruption where Afrikan souls may – for the sake of sheer survival – consider it necessary to wear this type of ‘mask’ or that type of ‘mask’ to present themselves in ways that best serve the interests of others, there may be dire neglect of their authentic selves. For this primary people of creation then, to establish self-determined space for the natural norm of their authentic presence to be brought to the fore is surely an empowering need.
According to a contemporary mainstream source, the term authentic presence attracts the following discussion:
“What is authentic presence? Authentic presence is the genuine expression of our natural human awareness that is always open, clear and compassionate. By connecting with this natural awareness, we can hold a healing space for people who experience illness, loss and dying”.
To bring focus specifically to the Afrikan experience at the shared level of core oneness that this people naturally hold, adaptation of the sourced detail is considered apt. In making alterations something that looks like the following may result:
“Authentic Afrikan presence is the genuine expression of Afrikan people’s natural awareness, knowingness and authentic cultured living (creatively restored or otherwise) of themselves. Such presence brings clarity, relevant openness, compassion – amongst other qualities – that Afrikan souls share amongst each other here, there and elsewhere. As a result of the authentic Afrikan presence being realised, space for upright life enhancing activities such as self-determined learning and development, self-healing, self-determined construction amongst a vast array of other necessary engagements can be established and effectively utilised in service of this soul people’s fullest flourishing and security regardless of their geographical locale”.
Despite any destructive attempts to derail authentic Afrikan presence, no Afrikan soul ought to consider that they get closer to their ‘authentic self’ the more intimately connected they become with their enslaver or coloniser. Or rather, the more imposed upon, or become consumed by ill-vices. If others that mean the Afrikan ill had their way, the attempts to strip the Afrikan totally of any natural authenticity would surely be successful, absolute and final.
So then, the onus of responsibility firmly resides with Afrikan souls themselves to establish spaces for the authentic Afrikan presence to flourish empowered by their core shared oneness of being here, there and elsewhere. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
